High School Credit Diploma

To earn this "traditional" diploma, you must earn 20 credits, including those you may have earned at your former high school. Wallingford High School offers small classes, online courses and independent diploma packets. When all credits are completed, of which four must be in English, three in mathematics, two in science, and three in social studies (including U.S. history and civics), a diploma will be awarded.
Wallingford High School is open to all people who are at least 16 years or older, do not hold a high school diploma, and are no longer officially enrolled in high school.
Registration for Credit Diploma begins in mid August. Contact Barbara Kish at 203-294-3901 for appointments. Registration continues throughout the year. After September 7th students can call Diana Yates-Toman at 203-294-3904 for appointments. Occasionally, registration may be closed for a few months because of large numbers of students and unavailability of seats in courses.
